Ratification of a Tentative Agreement - Ratification de l'entente de principe On October 13, 2004 the PSAC-CRA Bargaining Team reached a tentative agreement covering members of the Program Delivery and Administrative Services bargaining unit at the Canada Revenue Agency. The tentative agreement, if ratified by the membership of the bargaining unit, will have an expiry date of October 21, 2007. Le 13 octobre 2004, l'équipe de négociation de l'AFPC-ARC a conclu une entente de principe visant les membres de l'unité de négociation Exécution des programmes et des services administratifs à l'Agence du revenu du Canada. Si les membres le ratifient, l'entente de principe viendra à expiration le 31 octobre 2007.

CRA Makes an Offer CRA has finally tabled its initial wage offer. The Agency is offering increases of: 1.5% effective November 2003, 1% effective 2004 and 1% effective 2005. Although not exactly what PSAC was looking for, it does show that CRA is ready to bargain. Discussions are now continuing with the assistance of a Conciliation Officer.

Meet Your New Exec The votes are in and your new Exec has been elected. Many of the faces remain the same with a few bright additions. Some of those returning however, have assumed new positions and responsibilities. The membership has elected a strong voice for themselves and this group of people promises to work hard to make sure that you receive the best quality representation. The next few years should prove to be exciting with lots to do and prepare for. The Exec is looking for volunteers who would be willing to become Area Representatives or Shop Stewards. Proposed Bylaw Changes Among other things that will be discussed at this year's AGM, a number of proposed Bylaw changes will be on the table. The proposed changes can be found on the Union bulletin boards as well as by following the link below. Please take the time to read and review the proposed changes as they will be discussed in depth at the meeting. A vote will follow shortly after, for each proposed change to determine if the proposed changes will be carried or defeated. ![]() Annual General Meeting Headquarters Local 70000 is holding its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, February 17, 2004 at 5:30 pm. The meeting will be held at 233 Gilmour St. Everyone is welcome to attend this meeting and all members in good standing are authorized to vote as this is an election year.
